The Teampicker app i developed somewhere around 2023-2024. Back when I was in school(2022), my teacher had a spare time assignment for anyone to complete. He wanted someone to make a spreadsheet on one of the school laptops that could generate teams for playing volleyball, baseball, or ball hockey. No one ever took it up.
Later I thought, spreadsheets are hard to use, a website would be a better idea! So I set out to make a tool like that in html and Javascript. My goal was to create something very minimalist and simple.
The resulting app is a little sparse as far as text and explanations. I also made sure it would work on mobile. Actually I made the app on mobile, a Samsung Galaxy a71 to be precise. I used the app Acode for coding it and another app Eruda for mobile browser developer tools.
